The Statement Bag For Autumn

I love handbags, but I don’t actually have the biggest collection of them. I find I just use the same ones that are easy to style and are generally ‘go with everything‘ colours like black, nude, grey etc… And I was fine with this as I like my collection and the fact they are so wearable. However when I spotted this in River Island, I think my ‘safe’ collection at home made me feel justified in purchasing it; that and that I was at a 20% off student event ๐Ÿ˜‰ It’s pretty out there and I love it!
Who would have thought! It’s a mish mash of colours and textures and even uses yellow suede material as the side panels! It’s a work of art in my opinion. And paired with a simple outfit made up of muted/basic colours it is THAT statement part of the outfit that makes it special. The fact it has such a range of colours within it makes it fairly easy to interwine into the outfit actually. You can choose black, brown, turquoise, grey, white, yellow… and go from there!
I’m so happy I got it and it is now the bag I can turn to if I want to jazz up a simple, classic outfit. It’s priced at what I think is a reasonable ยฃ42, and is available in other colour variations, including a sleek black version for those not feeling as adventurous but that love the design. I should add that it has a detachable strap so that you can wear it over your shoulder or across body which is always a nice option to have to keep your hands free.
I also picked up this cute little faux fur ball keyring! It actually looks quite nice attached to the bag but I’m using it for my keys. It’s great not having to root around for ages at the bottom of your bag for your keys, you can just feel around for the ball of fluff instead ๐Ÿ˜‰
