I can only apologise for the lack of pictures in this post. I know it would have been really helpful to have a swatch of this bronzer however I got through the pan so quickly I wasn’t thinking about a swatch! However, I think the speed I got through this should show how much I loved this bronzer.
Firstly, I love the packaging. It’s a kind of tortoiseshell/honeycomb vibe on the outside and the actual powder inside has the honeycomb pattern printed on it. It’s very pretty. I will say however that I ordered this online and it was a smaller compact than I expected! The size, as well as loving using it, is probably one of the reasons why I got through it so quickly.
This bronzer is matte and there are 5 shades and the one I went for was the palest, 01. I wanted a pale shade as the other bronzers I own are quite dark (for me) and warm so I wanted a more toned down option and this shade was perfect! I think this would be an excellent colour for those with far paler skin than me. When I inevitably repurchase this bronzer I think I will get the next shade darker; I recently saw the colours in store and they are all gorgeous colours. I think what I most liked about them was the tone, they’re just that perfect shade that isn’t too warm but still adds colour and depth to your face.
The formula itself goes on smoothly and blends beautifully. The pigmentation is about right for what you want in a bronzer as it’s not so opaque that it’s a pain to blend out or causes you worry of picking up too much on your brush. I found it looked nice and natural on the face and lasted reasonably well.
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder is £14, however the Body Shop always have 30% or 40% off codes going on, so really you should never have to pay more than £10 for it and it’s definitely worth the money IMO. 😉
