This magical looking pressed powder highlighter from Becca costs £32 and comes in Becca’s signature packaging, except it’s in a gorgeous chrome lilac! Their packaging looks like a mini spaceship and in this colour it’s so pretty.
The colour of the highlighter is a gorgeous pink/lilac that fits in with the ‘unicorn’ trend. It’s cool in tone and picks up the light beautifully, giving an iridescent shine to your cheekbones. There is zero chunky glitter in this; it just gives a wonderful gleam.
It’s not what I would consider an ‘everyday’ highlighter or one I would wear to work. I like to use it when I’m wearing pink toned makeup on my eyes, lips and cheeks. This way it really complements the makeup rather than being super obvious and out of place. It’s a lot more wearable than some people might think and it would look beautiful on all skin tones, especially on very light and very dark skin tones!
The formula is soft but it is quite powdery and can be rubbed away easily. Therefore, I find it needs to be applied with a brush rather than fingertips.
This is such a pretty highlighter that makes me feel pretty when I use it. I’ll admit I sometimes forget about it sat in my drawer as it’s something I only use when I’m wearing a certain makeup look, but in a way that makes it all the more special when I do use it. It is an expensive piece of makeup but I’m glad I bought it as it’s such a beautiful compact to look at and the colour is so pretty and a joy to apply to my face. ❤
